You Can Let Go
This TV spot is both heartwarming, and eerily frightening! A 5 year old being steadied on on a bike, with the line “you can let go” obviously intended for the dad. Fast forward to the same dad walking the daughter down the aisle, and the same line, impeccably timed in, and then, an elderly man in a hospital bed, “you can let go!” Is this the new message to the elderly, that it’s okay to just let go and die? An insidious message indeed!
